"No Class" is a song by the British heavy metal band Motörhead. It was released in 1979 in 7" vinyl pressings. The song first appeared on the 1979 album '' Overkill'', and became one of the "cornerstones" of the classic 1981 live album ''No Sleep 'til Hammersmith''. It is one of the band's "anthems". Release It was available in three different covers, with a picture of Lemmy, "Fast" Eddie Clarke or Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor. Motörhead
Motörhead () were an English rock band formed in London in 1975 by Lemmy (lead vocals, bass), Larry Wallis (guitar) and Lucas Fox (drums). Lemmy was also the primary songwriter and only constant member. The band are often considered a precursor to the new wave of British heavy metal, which re-energised heavy metal in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Though several guitarists and drummers have played in Motörhead, most of their best-selling albums and singles feature drummer Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor and guitarist "Fast" Eddie Clarke. Phil Taylor (musician)
Philip John Taylor (21 September 1954 – 12 November 2015), better known as "Philthy Animal", was an English drummer. He was a member of the rock band Motörhead from 1975 to 1984 and 1987 to 1992, recording eleven studio albums and four live albums with the band. The Motörhead line-up consisting of Taylor, Lemmy and "Fast" Eddie Clarke is generally regarded as the 'classic' line-up of the band. Biography Born on 21 September 1954, in Hasland, Derbyshire, Taylor grew up in Leeds, Yorkshire. He took drum lessons at Leeds College of Music on advice from his father. After meeting Lemmy, who was a fellow speed user, he joined Motörhead and replaced Lucas Fox during the recording of the band's first album ''On Parole'' in 1975. Gigantour
Gigantour was a sporadically organised traveling heavy metal music festival organized by Dave Mustaine of Megadeth. The tour was founded in 2005 with dates across North America (see also Gigantour 2005), and the 2006 and 2007 line-ups also traveled to Australia. The bands appearing at the festival were chosen by Mustaine. The tour is set as an alternative to tours such as Ozzfest. The name "Gigantour" was inspired by the classic 1960s anime ''Gigantor'', of which Mustaine is a fan. The most recent Gigantour took place in 2013. Kingdom of Sorrow is an American sludge metal band that features Kirk Windstein of Crowbar and Down, along with Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed. History Kingdom of Sorrow was founded when Hatebreed frontman Jamey Jasta introduced himself to Down/ Crowbar guitarist Kirk Windstein at a show at Pearl Street in Northampton, Massachusetts. A short time later Jasta, who actively booked shows throughout New England in the early nineties, put up the cash for a Napalm Death/Crowbar show in order that Hatebreed could play with one of their favorite bands. Ever since then, the two have remained in close contact and became friends over the subsequent decade. Jasta and Hatebreed invited Crowbar out for a UK run of dates in March 2005. ''Intérpretes'' is an EP released in 1990 by heavy metal band Hermética. It is an album of covers, including songs from artists like Motörhead, V8 and Manal, among others. Production ''Intérpretes'' is the second work produced by Hermética, after the 1989 ''Hermética'' album. At that point, the label Trípoli Discos could provide only 27 hours of recording time. The band accepted the proposal. Lacking new songs, the band recorded a cover album. Bassist Ricardo Iorio commented that they were not really interested in receiving royalties, and thus had no problems in recording covers. One of the songs is a thrash metal version of the tango '' Cambalache''. Iorio commented that the lyrics of the song, written in the 1930s, were still vigent, and close to the lyrics of Hermética.
