The Niraj ( hu, Nyárád; german: Niersch) is a river in the Gurghiu Mountains, Mureș County, northern Romania. Its name originates from the Hungarian word ''nyár'', meaning " poplar". It is a left tributary of the river Mureș. It starts at the confluence of headwaters Nirajul Mare and Nirajul Mic. Gheorghe Doja ( hu, Lukafalva, Hungarian pronunciation: ) is a commune in Mureș County, Transylvania, Romania composed of five villages: *Gheorghe Doja / Lukafalva *Ilieni / Lukailencfalva *Leordeni / Lőrincfalva *Satu Nou / Teremiújfalu *Tirimia / Nagyteremi History The locality was mentioned for the first time in 1409 as Lucafalva.
