Ningbo Railway Station
Ningbo railway station () is a railway station on the Xiaoshan–Ningbo railway, Ningbo–Taizhou–Wenzhou railway and Hangzhou–Ningbo high-speed railway located in Haishu District, Ningbo, Zhejiang, China. History The station opened on September 30, 1959. From September 8, 2010, Ningbo East railway station becomes the place for all passengers departing and arriving in Ningbo while the South railway station described above closed for a 2 years renovation. Starting from December 28, 2013, the station opened again and the neighbor station, Ningbo East railway station became an auxiliary station which stopped transporting passengers. Haishu District
() is a county-level district under the jurisdiction of Ningbo city in Zhejiang Province of the People's Republic of China. Since the district has a drum tower (''gulou'') that was constructed during the Tang Dynasty, it is alternatively called "Haishu Lou". The district's total area is 29 square kilometers, and its population is 280,000 people. The district's postal code is 315000. The district people's government is located at 229 Lingqiao Road. Administrative regions The district administers eight streets, 66 communities, and 16 administrative villages. Xiaoshan–Ningbo Railway
The Xiaoshan–Ningbo railway or Xiaoyong railway (), is a double-track railroad in eastern China between Hangzhou and Ningbo in Zhejiang Province. Its name in Chinese, the Xiaoyong Line, is named after the railway's two terminal stations, Xiaoshan, a suburban district of Hangzhou on the southern bank of Qiantang River, and Ningbo, whose Chinese character abbreviation is ''yong''. The line is long and was originally built in three parts in 1912, 1914 and 1936; rebuilt in 1959, then electrified in 2009. Ningbo–Taizhou–Wenzhou Railway
The Ningbo–Taizhou–Wenzhou railway or Yong-Tai-Wen railway () is a dual-track, electrified, high-speed rail line in Zhejiang Province, China. It is named after the three prefecture-level cities along route: Ningbo, whose abbreviated Chinese name is ''Yong'', Taizhou and Wenzhou. The line has a total length of 282.4 kilometres and forms part of China's Southeast Coast high-speed rail corridor.
