Nikolai Zabolotny
Nikolai Archilovich Zabolotny (russian: Николай Арчилович Заболотный; born 16 April 1990) is a Russian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for PFC Sochi. Club career During his time with FC Zenit St. Petersburg, he received several call-ups to the senior squad in 2008 and 2009, but remained on the bench in all of those games. He made his debut for the main FC Spartak Moscow squad on 2 April 2011 in a Russian Premier League game against FC Kuban Krasnodar. On 8 September 2017, his contract with FC Ural Yekaterinburg was dissolved by mutual consent. On 30 May 2023, Zabolotny extended his contract with PFC Sochi Football Club Sochi (russian: Футбольный клуб Сочи, Futbolny Klub Sochi), is a Russian professional football club based in Sochi. Russian Football National League
The Russian First League (russian: Первая лига, Pervaya liga), formerly called Russian First Division (russian: Первый дивизион) and Russian Football National League (FNL) (russian: Первенство Футбольной Национальной Лиги, Pervenstvo Futbol'noy Natsional'noy Ligi) is the second level of the Russian football league system. The 2013–14 Ural season was the club's 1st season at the Russian Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Russia, since their relegation from the league in 1996. Ural finished the season in 11th place, whilst they were knocked out of the Russian Cup in the fifth round by Tosno. The 2012–13 Spartak Moscow season was the club's 21st season in the Russian Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Russia. They finished the season in fourth place, qualifying for the UEFA Europa League; reached the round of 16 in the Russian Cup; and were knocked out 2012–13 UEFA Champions League at the group stage. Spartak started the season under the management of Unai Emery, who they appointed as manager in June 2012 after Valery Karpin resigned following the completion of the previous season.
