Nikitas Kocheilas
Nikitas Kocheilas ( el, Νικήτας Κόχειλας; born 1 March 1983) is a Greek water polo player. As a member of Greece men's national water polo team, he won the bronze medal at the 2006 FINA World League and competed at the 2006 European Championship, the 2006 FINA World Cup and the 2008 FINA World League. Kocheilas was also part of the Greece men's national water polo team that was the Champion at the 2001 Junior World Championship in Istanbul. At club level, Kocheilas started his career in 1998 with Ethnikos Piraeus (along with his brother Giannis) with whom he played from 1998–2003, 2015–2017 and 2021–2022 winning the 2000 Greek Cup. The Greek Water Polo cup is the second most important competition of Greece, Greek men's waterpolo and is organised by Hellenic Swimming Federation, KOE (Hellenic Swimming Federation). It was first held in 1953. Initially started as a competition in memory of Pantelis Psychas, Greek athlete of the swimming. The competition was interrupted from 1959 to 1983. Moreover, it wasn't held in 1993-94 season. From 1998-99 season the Final Four system was instituted. The A1 Ethniki ( el, Α1 Εθνική Κατηγορία), often referred to as the Greek Water Polo League, is the highest professional water polo league in Greece. It is run by the Hellenic Swimming Federation. Olympiacos Men's Waterpolo ( el, Ολυμπιακός, ), commonly referred to as Olympiacos, Olympiacos Piraeus or with its full name as Olympiacos CFP, is the men's water polo department of the major Greek multi-sport club, Olympiacos CFP, based in Piraeus, Greece. Ethnikos Piraeus Water Polo Club is the water polo team of Ethnikos OFPF (meaning: ''National Club of Fans of Piraeus and Phalerum,'' in Greek: ''Εθνικός Όμιλος Φιλάθλων Πειραιώς Φαλήρου'').
