Nikita Starostin
Nikita Maximovich Starostin (russian: Никита Максимович Старостин; born 13 June 2002) is a Russian-Germany, German figure skater, who represents Germany internationally. Personal life Starostin was born on June 13, 2002 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Prior to becoming a figure skater, Starostin also participated in swimming and association football, football as a child. Starostin's stepfather is Germans, German, which factored into his decision to represent Germany. His figure skating idols are Deniss Vasiljevs and Shoma Uno. Career Early career Starostin began figure skating in 2009 after being encouraged by his mother, a former figure skater, to give it a try. According to Starostin, it was difficult for him to initially find someone to coach him in Russia due to him only having started skating at seven years old. 2018–19 ISU Junior Grand Prix
The 2018–19 ISU Junior Grand Prix was the 22nd season of a series of junior international competitions organized by the International Skating Union. It was the junior-level complement to the 2018–19 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating. Skaters competed for medals in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dance, as well as for qualifying points. The top six from each discipline met at the 2018–19 Junior Grand Prix Final, which was held together with the senior final. Competitions The locations of the JGP events change yearly.
