Nikita Vasilevich Melnikov (russian: Никита Васильевич Мельников; born 27 June 1987 in Shakhty, Russia) is an Ethnic Russian Greco-Roman wrestler. He won both gold medals in the 2013 Summer Universiade in Kazan, Russia - his country and 2013 World Wrestling Championships in Budapest, Hungary. In 2016 European Wrestling Championships he beat third consecutive to Artur Aleksanyan Artur Aleksanyan ( hy, Արթուր Ալեքսանյան, born 21 October 1991) is an Armenian Greco-Roman wrestler. The Fédération Internationale du Sport Universitaire (FISU, en, International University Sports Federation) is responsible for the organization and governance of worldwide sports competitions for student-athletes between the ages of 17 and 25.
