Nikica Gabrić (born 1961) is a Croatian physician and politician. He was born in Metković. He graduated at the School of Medicine in Zagreb as an ophthalmologist. He founded the Special Hospital for Ophthalmology ''Svjetlost'' in Zagreb, in which he works and serves as the Director. He specializes in surgery of the anterior eye segment, with more than 30,000 operations done. His clinic is the third private health institution in Croatia in terms of total revenue, and boasts as the first one operating exclusively in the free market, without cooperation with the Croatian Institute for Health Insurance. Nikica Jelavić (; born 27 August 1985) is a Croatian former professional footballer who played as a forward. Jelavić began his career with Croatian side Hajduk Split of the Prva HNL in 2002, before moving to Belgian Pro League club Zulte Waregem in 2007. Nikica Kolumbić (6 October 1930 - 1 March 2009) was Croatian historian and lexicographer. He was born in Zagreb. He graduated Croatian studies at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb in 1955, receiving a PhD in 1964 with a thesis ''On the origin and development of Croatian medieval passion poetry and drama'' (''Postanak i razvoj hrvatske srednjovjekovne pasionske poezije i drame'') at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zadar. There he continued to work as a professor of older Croatian literature. He was the Editor-in-Chief of the first volume of the Croatian Biographical Lexicon (1983).
