Nikica Gabrić
Nikica Gabrić (born 1961) is a Croatian physician and politician. He was born in Metković. He graduated at the School of Medicine in Zagreb as an ophthalmologist. He founded the Special Hospital for Ophthalmology ''Svjetlost'' in Zagreb, in which he works and serves as the Director. He specializes in surgery of the anterior eye segment, with more than 30,000 operations done. His clinic is the third private health institution in Croatia in terms of total revenue, and boasts as the first one operating exclusively in the free market, without cooperation with the Croatian Institute for Health Insurance. He is professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Rijeka and a collaborative member of the Croatian Academy of Medical Sciences. In 1995 he founded the first Croatian eye bank LHOB. Socialist Republic Of Croatia
The Socialist Republic of Croatia ( sh-Latn-Cyrl, separator=" / ", Socijalistička Republika Hrvatska, Социјалистичка Република Хрватска), or SR Croatia, was a constituent republic and federated state of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. National Forum ( hr, Nacionalni forum, abbreviation NF) was a citizen association and a political party (officially registered on February 1, 2014) in Croatia, founded by Nikica Gabrić. On March 1, 2014, NF announced a coalition with Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS) for upcoming European Parliament election. Željka Antunović
Željka Antunović (; born 15 September 1955) is a Croatian former politician who served as acting president of the Social Democratic Party between April and June 2007, and as Minister of Defence from 2002 until 2003 in the second cabinet of Ivica Račan. She was the first and to date only female holder of the office. Born in Virovitica, Antunović entered the political scene in 1990 when she joined Social Democrats of Croatia (SDH), a centre-left party formed after establishment of democracy across Yugoslavia – and originally a major rival of SDP, who had in turn recently succeeded the League of Communists of Croatia (SKH).
