Nijirō Murakami
is a Japanese actor. He is best known for his role as Kaito in the 2014 romance film ''Still the Water'', which was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. Murakami's role as an undercover in ''Last of the Wolves'' (2021) received critical acclaim, and earned him a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the 45th Japan Academy Film Prize. The is a film festival established in 1985. The event was held biennially from 1985 to 1991 and annually thereafter. Along with the Shanghai International Film Festival, it is one of Asia's competitive film festivals, and is considered to be the largest film festival in Asia and the only Japanese festival accredited by the FIAPF. The awards handed out during the festival have changed throughout its existence, but the Tokyo Grand Prix, handed to the best film, has stayed as the top award. The Isle of Dogs is a large peninsula bounded on three sides by a large meander in the River Thames in East London, England, which includes the Cubitt Town, Millwall and Canary Wharf districts. The area was historically part of the Manor, Hamlet, Parish and, for a time, the wider borough of Poplar. The name had no official status until the 1987 creation of the Isle of Dogs Neighbourhood by Tower Hamlets London Borough Council.
