Nightfall (CBC)
''Nightfall'' was a radio drama series produced and aired by CBC Radio from July 1980 to June 1983. While primarily a supernatural/ horror series, ''Nightfall'' featured some episodes in other genres, such as science fiction, mystery, fantasy, and human drama. Some of ''Nightfalls episodes were so terrifying that the CBC registered numerous complaints and some affiliate stations dropped it. John Stocker (voice Actor)
John Stocker (born August 13, 1947) is a Canadian voice actor. His career in voice acting began in the 1970s. Life and career In 1973, he joined a comedy troupe called the Zoo Factory, whose members consisted of Dan Hennessey, Bruce Gordon, Harriet Cohen and Jerelyn Craden. On television, Stocker played the voice of Beastly, the clumsy and frantic, but smart villain on the Nelvana version of the ''Care Bears'' television series ''The Care Bears Family''. He and Zoo Factory alumnus Dan Hennessey appeared as Thomson and Thompson on ''The Adventures of Tintin''. Otto Lowy
Otto Lowy (1921 – May 29, 2002) was the host of CBC Radio 2's ''The Transcontinental'' for 22 years until his death. The program was introduced each week as a "musical train ride through Europe". Lowy was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia, to an assimilated Jewish family and was the only member of his immediate family to survive World War II as he fled the country three days before Germany invaded. Neil Munro (1947–July 13, 2009) was a Scottish-born Canadian director, actor and playwright. Acting career Born in Musselburgh, Scotland, Munro moved to Toronto at an early age.
