''Move Along'' is the second studio album by the American rock band The All-American Rejects, released on July 12, 2005, by Interscope Records. It spawned three top 15 singles, which helped the album ship 2 million units to be certified double platinum by the RIAA. Production The All-American Rejects began writing new material for their second album in the fall of 2003, with the song "Dance Inside" being the first written and performed by the band during their then-current tour. After the end of their tour, the band's songwriters Tyson Ritter and Nick Wheeler spent the majority of 2004 writing more new material in their homes in Destin, Florida. Production for the album took place in Burbank, California the following December, taking a majority of seven weeks to record. Brother Firetribe
Brother Firetribe is a Finnish hard rock band. They take their name from a direct English translation of the name of the former professional tennis player Veli Paloheimo. The name is a reference to an in-joke, where the perfect description for their music is 'tennis heavy metal'. History The band was formed in 2002 in Kerava when vocalist Pekka Heino, keyboardist Tomi Nikulainen and bassist Jason Flinck met with guitarist Emppu Vuorinen. Their first album ''False Metal'' was released by Spinefarm in 2006. The first album was later re-issued as ''Break Out''. In 2009 Brother Firetribe joined Pain on the "European Cynic Campaign 2009" tour. Pain also toured with Nightwish, and Emppu Vuorinen, one of Nightwish's founding members, was the guitarist for Brother Firetribe. ''Pho'' is the debut extended play by American singer Ari Lennox. It was released on October 21, 2016 by Dreamville Records and Interscope Records. Background The EP was mainly produced by DJ Grumble, with additional production from Felly, Hollywood JB, and Dave James. The only guest appearance in this EP was from Dreamville label-mate, Cozz, on the song "Backseat". Singles and promotion On December 8, 2015, "Backseat" was originally released on the collaborative effort, ''Revenge of the Dreamers II'', as promotion for Ari Lennox's debut release. The music video for "Backseat" was released on October 14, 2016. The music video for "GOAT" was uploaded to Ari's Vevo on YouTube on November 13, 2017. ''Permanence'' is the debut studio album by rock band No Devotion. It was released on 25 September 2015 through Collect Records. It was reissued on 6 June 2022 through Velocity Records after the collapse of Collect Records. Background Following Lostprophets frontman Ian Watkins' incarceration for child sex offences, No Devotion was formed. Bassist Stuart Richardson explained that they were unsure "if we would ever make music again or if people would look us in the face. Everything felt like it was over." In April 2014 it was announced that Thursday frontman Geoff Rickly would be working with No Devotion through his own label, Collect Records. ''Futures'' is the fifth studio album by American rock band Jimmy Eat World, released on October 19, 2004, through Interscope Records. After touring in support of ''Bleed American'' (2001) for two years, the band returned home and began working on new material by mid-2003. Following fruitless sessions with producer Mark Trombino, the band re-grouped and recorded with Gil Norton. The sessions lasted from February to May 2004 and were held at various studios in California and Arizona. Richard Sala
Richard Sala (June 2, 1954 – May 7, 2020) was an American cartoonist, illustrator, and comic book creator with a unique expressionistic style whose books often combined elements of mystery, horror and whimsy. Biography Richard Sala was born in Oakland, California in 1954. He spent his childhood in West Chicago, Illinois, and his teenage years in Scottsdale, Arizona. In interviews, Sala has mentioned the influence of his childhood years on his work, particularly his visits to museums and antique shops. He has stated that his love of reading and his interest in comic books and horror films helped him deal with real-life fears. He attended college as an art major, finally earning a Master of Fine Arts degree in painting from Mills College. He then worked as a freelance illustrator, something he had begun doing while in college, and a cartoonist, publishing his first comic book, ''Night Drive'', in 1984.
