The Senate is the upper chamber of Nigeria's bicameral legislature, the National Assembly of Nigeria. The National Assembly (popularly referred to as NASS) is the nation's highest legislature, whose power is to make laws, is summarized in chapter one, section four of the 1999 Nigerian Constitution. Gombe State
Gombe State ( ff, Leyddi Gommbe 𞤤𞤫𞤴𞤣𞤭 𞤺𞤮𞤥𞥆𞤦𞤫) is a state in northeastern Nigeria, bordered to the north and northeast by the state of Borno and Yobe, to the south by Taraba State, to the southeast by Adamawa State, and to the west by Bauchi State. Mohammed Danjuma Goje
Mohammed Danjuma Goje (born 10 October 1952) was a former Governor of Gombe State, Nigeria under the platform of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), taking office on 29 May 2003 during the 2003 Gombe State gubernatorial election. He is now a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Early life and education Goje was born in Pindiga, Akko LGA of Gombe State. Sa'idu Ahmed Alkali (born 12 February 1969) is a Nigerian politician who was elected Senator for the Gombe North constituency of Gombe State, Nigeria in August 2010 after the death of the incumbent senator Kawu Peto Dukku. He was reelected in the April 2011 national elections, running on the People's Democratic Party (PDP) platform. Sa'idu Ahmed Alkali was born on 12 February 1969. He holds the honorary title of Sarkin Gabas Dukku. He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics, and became a public servant.
