Nigeria Olympic Committee
The Nigeria Olympic Committee (NOC) is the National Olympic Committee for Nigeria, responsible for co-ordinating and supporting Nigerian competitors in the Olympic Games. It is also the body responsible for Nigeria's representation at the Commonwealth Games. Leadership The President of the NOC as of 2011 was Sani Ndanusa who had been Minister of Sports from 17 December 2008 to 17 March 2010. Ndanusa first said he aspired to become NOC President when he was Minister of Sports, but in November 2009 the NOC screening committee disqualified him on the basis that documents he had submitted were allegedly "forged, altered and not dated". Praise Oghenefejiro Idamadudu (born 18 December 1998) is a Nigeria female track and field sprinter who competes in the 200 metres and the 400 metres. She was a silver medallist in the 4 × 400 metres relay at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Career Born in Ovu, Delta State, she made her international debut at the 2014 African Youth Games, where she was the 200 m gold medallist. Patience Okon George
Patience Okon George (born 25 November 1991) is a Nigerian sprinter. She competed in the 400 metres event at the 2015 World Championships in Athletics in Beijing, China and also at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. George is a two-time African Championships bronze medallist in the individual 400 metres event. She is also a three-time Nigerian national champion in the 400 metres. On 2 August 2014, she ran the first leg of the 4 × 400 m relay for the Nigerian team that came second behind the Jamaican quartet at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games. Segun Moses Toriola (born 18 September 1974 in Ilorin, Kwara, Nigeria) is a retired Nigeria professional table tennis player. He is the youngest of nine brothers. Quadri Akinade Aruna (born 9 August 1988, in Oyo, Nigeria) is a professional Nigeria table tennis player. He competed for Nigeria at the 2012 Summer Olympics and 2016 Summer Olympics, reaching the quarter-finals in the latter competition.
