Niels-Jørgen Hansen (born 22 October 1965) is a Danish professional darts player who has played in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career Hansen's first bigger tournament was the German Open in 2007, where he was one of the final 64. Throughout his career, he has competed in several similar tournaments. Tubthumping
"Tubthumping" is a song released by British rock band Chumbawamba from their eighth studio album, ''Tubthumper'' (1997). It is the band's most successful single, peaking at number two on the UK Singles Chart. It topped the charts in Australia, Canada, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand and hit number six on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 (although it topped the US Modern Rock and Mainstream Top 40 charts). At the 1998 Brit Awards, "Tubthumping" was nominated for the Brit Award for Best British Single. It sold 880,000 copies in the UK. Chumbawamba
Chumbawamba () were a British rock band formed in 1982 and disbanded in 2012. They are best known for their 1997 single "Tubthumping", which was nominated for Best British Single at the 1998 Brit Awards. Other singles include "Amnesia", " Enough Is Enough" (with MC Fusion), " Timebomb", "Top of the World (Olé, Olé, Olé)", and "Add Me". The band drew on genres such as punk rock, pop, and folk. Their anarcho-communist political leanings led them to have an irreverent attitude toward authority, and to espouse a variety of political and social causes including animal rights and pacifism (early in their career) and later regarding class struggle, Marxism, feminism, gay liberation, pop culture, and anti-fascism. The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) is a professional darts organisation in the United Kingdom, established in 1992 when a group of leading players split from the British Darts Organisation (BDO) to form what was initially called the World Darts Council (WDC). Sports promoter Eddie Hearn is the PDC chairman. The PDC developed and holds several championship competitions, including the annual PDC World Darts Championship, the World Matchplay, World Grand Prix, UK Open, Premier League, and Grand Slam. The German Open (known for sponsorship reasons as the Bull's German Open) is a darts tournament that began in 1986. It was abandoned for three years before being recurred in 1990 where it has been held annually. All tournaments was held in Germany at various venues. 2012 PDC Pro Tour
The 2012 PDC Pro Tour was a series of non-televised darts tournaments organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). They were the Professional Dart Players Association (PDPA) Players Championships, the UK Open Qualifiers, and the new European Tour events. This year there were 33 PDC Pro Tour events – 20 Players Championships, 8 UK Open Qualifiers, and 5 European Tour events. Prize money Prize money for each Players Championship and UK Open Qualifier is £34,600, unchanged from 2011. Prize money for each European Tour event was £82,100. In addition, the 32 players who failed to qualify for a European Tour event at the final qualifying stage receive £100. A further £400 per Pro Tour event (£800 per European Tour event) was reserved for a nine-dart finish. If this was not won in an event, it was carried over to the next event, and so on until a nine-dart finish was achieved. Dennis Lindskjold
Dennis Lindskjold (born 21 December 1977) is a Danish former professional darts player. Career Lindskjold has been picked 7 times for the Danish national team. In September 2012, he won a Scandinavian Pro Tour event in Denmark by defeating Niels Jorgen Hansen 6–3 in the final. A year later he beat Soren Hedegaard, Jarkko Komula, Magnus Caris and Jani Haavisto to qualify for the 2014 PDC World Championship. At the World Championship, Lindskjold was supposed to face Edward Santos in the preliminary round but due to visa trouble for the Philippine, Lindskjold faced Colin Osborne instead. Lindskjold won the first leg but went on to be beaten 4–1. He won the 2014 Nordic Cup Open by beating Mats Andersson in the final. Lindskjold made his debut in the World Cup of Darts in 2014, representing Denmark with Per Laursen and they were eliminated 5–2 by Australia in the first round. 2019 Danish Darts Open
The 2019 Danish Darts Open was the eighth of thirteen PDC European Tour events on the 2019 PDC Pro Tour. The tournament took place at Brøndbyhallen, Copenhagen, Denmark, from 14–16 June 2019. It featured a field of 48 players and £140,000 in prize money, with £25,000 going to the winner. Mensur Suljović was the defending champion after defeating Simon Whitlock 8–3 in the final of the 2018 tournament, but he lost 6–5 to Dave Chisnall in the third round. Chisnall would go on to win the event, his second European Tour title and his first for 6 years, by defeating Chris Dobey 8–3 in the final.
