Nicole Stephanie Danielle Lyn (born February 24, 1978) is a Canadian television actress. She is best known for her roles as Susan Kushner in ''Ramona'' and Emily Roberts on the Canadian teen comedy series ''Student Bodies''. Early life Lyn was born in Brampton, Ontario, to Cheryl Gabay, a Jamaican woman of Afro-Jamaican descent, and Peter Lyn, who is Chinese-Jamaican. She grew up in the Toronto area. As a child, Nicole danced in the National Ballet School's Junior Dance division, and was also a member of the Canadian Children's Opera Chorus. Nicole entered show business when she was offered a spot on a Jordache billboard after accompanying her aunt, a model, to her audition. Eric's World
''Eric's World'' is a children's sitcom, which aired on a number of Canadian networks in 1990–1995, and was produced by Cambium Productions, running for five seasons. The show starred Eric Nagler, who had previously appeared on ''Sharon, Lois & Bram's Elephant Show''. The show also featured Ashley Brown as Max, Michelyn Emelle as Andrea, Daniel DeSanto as Horace, Niki Holt as Kaley, Maggie Huculak as Marian the Librarian, Nicole Lyn as Prue and John Pattison as C.J.. ''Are You Afraid of the Dark?'' is a horror anthology television series. The original series aired on Nickelodeon from 1992 to 1996; the pilot episode aired respectively on YTV and Nickelodeon in 1990 and 1991. It led to two revival series, with the first airing from 1999 to 2000, and the second debuting in 2019. The original series was distributed worldwide by D. J. MacHale and Ned Kandel and was picked up by Nickelodeon in 1991. MacHale, Kandel, and Nickelodeon teamed up with the Canadian company Cinar, and as a part of the deal the show was filmed in Richmond, British Columbia, and in the Greater Montreal area of Quebec. ''The Kids in the Hall'' is a Canadian sketch comedy TV series that aired for five seasons from 1988 to 1995, and a sixth revival season in 2022, starring the comedy troupe The Kids in the Hall. YTV is a Canadian English language specialty channel owned by YTV Canada, Inc., a subsidiary of Corus Entertainment. Mandeville is the capital and largest town in the parish of Manchester in the county of Middlesex, Jamaica.
