Nick Stevens (cricketer)
Nicholas Gerard Stevens (born 20 May 1994) is a former Australian cricketer. A right-handed batsman, he played six first-class matches for Queensland between 2013 and 2015. Cricket career Born in Toowoomba, Queensland, Stevens began playing for Gold Coast in Queensland Premier Cricket in 2008, and first played for the first-grade side in 2010 when he was 16. He received a rookie contract with Queensland for the 2011/12 season, and in 2012 he was selected in the Australian squad for the Under-19 Cricket World Cup. Stevens was named a supplementary player for the Brisbane Heat for the 2012/13 and 2013/14 Big Bash League seasons but did not play any games for the side. His Queensland rookie contract was renewed for the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons, and he made his first-class debut in late 2013. Toowoomba
Toowoomba ( , nicknamed 'The Garden City' and 'T-Bar') is a city in the Toowoomba Region of the Darling Downs, Queensland, Australia. It is west of Queensland's capital city Brisbane by road. 2012 Under-19 Cricket World Cup
The 2012 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was a one-day cricket competition for sixteen international U-19 cricketing teams which was held in August 2012. This was the ninth time that the tournament was held since its inception back in 1988. The tournament was held in Australia for the second time after previously hosting it in 1988 with the tournament being held across three cities (Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and Townsville). Six teams qualified from the qualifying event as they joined the full members that automatically qualified through to the World Cup. The teams were separated into four groups of four with the top two teams qualifying through to the Super League while the bottom two will compete in the Plate Championship. After finishing second in their group, India beat Australia in the final by six wickets to win their third title after previously winning in 2000 and 2008. Valley District Cricket Club
Valley District Cricket Club is a cricket club playing in the Bulls Masters premiership, the leading club cricket competition in Queensland, Australia. The club was established on 16 August 1897 and is one of only four remaining foundation clubs (along with South Brisbane, Redlands and Toombul). They have historically been located in the inner Brisbane suburb of Fortitude Valley and now play home matches at the Ashgrove Sportsground Park. Greg Moller (born 29 January 1983) is an Australian cricketer who has played 21 first-class matches and 12 List A matches. Cricket career Moller began his cricket career in Boonah playing as an opening bat and wicketkeeper for Fassifern Under-11's and later moved to the Beaudesert competition. He represented the Queensland junior Under-17's and Under-19's sides and in 1999 he was awarded the Ken Mackay Trophy for Queensland Junior Cricketer of the Year. The Big Bash League (known as the KFC Big Bash League for sponsorship reasons, often abbreviated to BBL or Big Bash) is an Australian professional club Twenty20 cricket league, which was established in 2011 by Cricket Australia. The Big Bash League replaced the previous competition, the KFC Twenty20 Big Bash, and features eight city-based franchises instead of the six state teams which had participated previously. Queensland Premier Cricket is the top cricket competition played in Queensland, Australia. The competition was founded under the name Brisbane Electoral Cricket in 1897 and eventually came to be known as Brisbane Grade Cricket, but has since expanded to take in teams from Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, and Ipswich. As of the 2019/20 season there were six grades in the Two-Day Bulls Masters competition. In addition to the two-day Grade competition there is also a One-Day competition for the John McKnoulty Cup and a T20 competition for the Tom Veivers Trophy. The Gold Coast District Cricket Club is a cricket club on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia who play in the Queensland Premier Cricket competition. The club was founded in 1990.
