Nick McArdle
Nick McArdle is an Australian TV sports presenter with a career spanning 20 years in the media industry. He was previously weekend sports presenter for ''Seven News'' in Sydney for a number of years. Career McArlde began his career in sports reporting on country television at Port Pirie, South Australia, before moving into radio on the Austereo network in Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney. He then presented the sport report on the (now cancelled) ''Seven News, Seven Late News'', and hosted ''Sunrise (Australian TV program), Sunrise'' as a fill-in presenter. Over the summer of 2005, McArdle presented ''Seven News, Seven Morning News'' as a fill-in presenter. Nick started his career on radio with the Austereo Network reading news in Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney before moving to television in 1995. Ben Damon (born 24 October 1980) is an Australian journalist, TV presenter and screenwriter/director. Damon is a TV host who has presented on Foxtel's Olympic coverage, ''Sunrise'', ''Weekend Today'', Sky News Australia, Sky Racing and Fox Sports. Damon is the face and voice of Main Event's pay-per-view television boxing coverage. Prior to his resignation, Damon presented the weeknight 6pm sport report for Sydney's edition of ''Seven News''. Malcolm Knox (author)
Malcolm Knox (born 1966), is an Australian journalist and author. Life and literary career Malcolm Knox grew up in Sydney and studied in Sydney and Scotland. He has held a number of positions at the Sydney Morning Herald including chief cricket correspondent (1996–99), assistant sport editor (1999–2000) and literary editor (2002–06). As literary editor, he broke the story of the fake Jordanian memoirist, Norma Khouri, which won him a Walkley Award (Investigative Journalism category) in 2004 (together with Caroline Overington). The Hit Network is an Australian commercial radio network owned and operated by Southern Cross Austereo. The network consists of 41 radio stations broadcasting a hot adult contemporary music format, as well as 6 digital radio stations. History The Hit Network was formed in 1986 as the Austereo Network after Austereo, the licensee of Adelaide commercial radio station SAFM, purchased Fox FM in Melbourne.
