Nichita Danilov (born April 7, 1952, in Climăuţi village, Suceava County) is a Romanian poet. He served as the acting ambassador of Romania to Moldova in 1999. Nichita Moțpan (born 17 July 2001) is a Moldovan professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Russian club Fakel Voronezh and the Moldova national team. Club career Moțpan was born in Bălți, Moldova. Between 2017 and 2020, he played youth football at Rubin Kazan and Zaria Bălți. He started his senior career with FC Bălți in July 2020, where he took part in the club's promotion from the 2020–21 Moldovan "A" Division, scoring 13 goals. In March 2021, he was close to moving to Polish side GKS Bełchatów, but the transfer fell through as FC Bălți and Moțpan could not agree on the financial terms with Bełchatów. Nichita Parfeni Smochină (; Moldovan Cyrillic: Никита Парфени Смокинэ, Russian: Никита Парфеньевич Смокина, ''Nikita Parfenievich Smokina''; also known as Mihai Florin; March 14, 1894 – December 14, 1980) was an ethnic Romanian activist, scholar, and political figure from what is now Transnistria. He is especially noted for campaigning on behalf of Romanians in the Soviet Union. He was first active in the Russian Empire, serving with distinction in World War I. He turned to Romanian nationalism in 1917 when he was serving as an officer in Russian Transcaucasia. Smochină met Bolshevik leader Vladimir Lenin, recording Lenin's then-tolerant views on Romanian emancipation. Smochină was then active in the Ukrainian People's Republic, where he led the general caucus formed by Romanians in Tiraspol. Nichita Stănescu (; born Nichita Hristea Stănescu; 31 March 1933 – 13 December 1983) was a Romanian poet and essayist. Biography Stănescu's father was Nicolae Hristea Stănescu (1908–1982). His mother, Tatiana Cereaciuchin, was Russian (originally from Voronezh, she had fled Russia and married in 1931). Nichita Stănescu graduated from the Ion Luca Caragiale High School in Ploiești, then went on to study Romanian language and literature at the University of Bucharest, graduating in 1957. He made his literary debut in the ''Tribuna'' literary magazine. Stănescu married Magdalena Petrescu in 1952, but the couple separated a year later. In 1962 he married Doina Ciurea.
