Nichijou
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Keiichi Arawi. The manga began serialization in the December 2006 issue of Kadokawa Shoten's manga magazine '' Shōnen Ace'', and was also serialized in ''Comptiq'' between the March 2007 and July 2008 issues. Kadokawa Shoten later published all chapters of the series' initial run in ten ''tankōbon'' volumes from July 2007 to December 2015. After a six year hiatus, the manga began serialization again in 2021. Set in a typical suburban Japanese town, ''Nichijou'' is populated by an ensemble set of characters, featuring moments from their everyday lives which alternate between the mundane and the strange, without ample focus on a narrative. A 26-episode anime television series directed by Tatsuya Ishihara and produced by Kyoto Animation was broadcast on independent television stations from April 3 to September 21, 2011, after an earlier original video animation (OVA) was released in March. Keiichi Arawi
is a Japanese manga artist. After publishing his debut work in early 2006, he launched ''Nichijou'' in the later half of the year. Following its conclusion, he launched ''City''. Biography Keiichi Arawi was born on December 29, 1977, in Gunma Prefecture. In 2006, he made his debut with ''Kazemachi'' published in ''Monthly Comic Flapper''. Later that year, he launched ''Nichijou'' in ''Monthly Shōnen Ace''. It ran until December 2015. In 2011, ''Nichijou'' ranked in the top 50 best selling manga in Japan. In 2015, the series ranked sixth for the Sugoi Japan Award in the manga category. An anime television series adaptation of the series was also produced. In 2013, while ''Nichijou'' was serializing, Arawi launched a manga, titled ''Heaven'', in ''Newtype''. Comptiq
is a Japanese computer game magazine, first published in 1983, by Kadokawa Shoten. The name "Comptiq" came from combining the words "computer" and "boutique". Originally a PC magazine, its focus shifted from computers to computer games. As of September 2003, it was known as a "MediaMix Game Magazine". The magazine is sold every month on the tenth. The magazine is split into two sections: one with information about games, and one with manga information (usually made after popular H-games). It's also known for revealing information on upcoming games and includes a gift in each issue. However, unlike most game magazines, ''Comptiq'' does not publish game reviews.
