Comptiq
is a Japanese computer game magazine, first published in 1983, by Kadokawa Shoten. The name "Comptiq" came from combining the words "computer" and "boutique". Originally a PC magazine, its focus shifted from computers to computer games. As of September 2003, it was known as a "MediaMix Game Magazine". The magazine is sold every month on the tenth. The magazine is split into two sections: one with information about games, and one with manga information (usually made after popular H-games). It's also known for revealing information on upcoming games and includes a gift in each issue. However, unlike most game magazines, ''Comptiq'' does not publish game reviews. , abbreviated as , is a Japanese free-to-play web browser game developed by Kadokawa Games and published by DMM.com. The central theme of the game is the representation of World War II warships Moe anthropomorphism, personified as teenage girls and young adult women with personality characteristics reflecting the history of each ship. Originally, all of these were Japanese, but ships from other nations have also been added as the game has developed. Gameplay involves all aspects of naval warfare, including not only combat but also maintenance, repair, upgrading, resupply, morale, logistics and mission planning. The game was launched on April 23, 2013. As of April 2015, the game is available in Japan only and has 3 million registered players. Lucky Star (manga)
is a Japanese four-panel comic strip manga series by Kagami Yoshimizu. It has been serialized in Kadokawa Shoten's ''Comptiq'' magazine since December 2003. Cameo strips were published in other magazines such as '' Shōnen Ace'' and others. It has no ongoing plot and typically focuses on the daily lives of the characters. An audio drama CD based on the series was released in August 2005, and the series spawned four video games released between 2005 and 2009. A 24-episode anime adaptation produced by Kyoto Animation aired between April 8 and September 16, 2007. The anime was licensed in North America by Kadokawa Pictures and distributed by Bandai Entertainment; six DVDs have been released between May 2008 and March 2009. An original video animation (OVA) episode was released on September 26, 2008 accompanied by a drama CD. Bandai Entertainment released the OVA in an English-sub only version on August 4, 2009. ''Fate/Extra'' (stylized as ''Fate/EXTRA'') is a dungeon crawler role-playing game developed by Type-Moon and Imageepoch and published by Marvelous Entertainment for the PlayStation Portable. The game takes place in a parallel universe to the visual novel ''Fate/stay night''. It was released in Japan on July 22, 2010. Aksys Games localized the game for North America and released it on November 21, 2011. Three editions of the game were released in North America: a Limited Edition, a retail standard edition, and a PlayStation Network downloadable version. On January 19, 2012, Ghostlight announced their plans to release the game in PAL territories. ''Fate/Extra'' was followed by a companion game, ''Fate/Extra CCC''.
