Ngozi Ebere
Ngozi Ebere (born 5 August 1991) is a Nigerian footballer who plays as a defender for Norwegian club Arna-Bjørnar, and internationally for the Nigeria women's national team. She was a member of the Rivers Angels who won the Nigerian domestic double in 2014, and the Nigerian national women's team who won the 2014 African Women's Championship. Career Club In 2014, Ngozi Ebere was part of the Nigerian domestic team Rivers Angels who won the Nigerian Women Football League and Nigeria Federation Cup double. During the course of the season, Ebere scored seven goals including the third and final goal on the final match of the season in the 3–1 victory over Sunshine Queens. Ebere was signed by the French team Paris Saint-Germain in September 2015 on a two-year contract. The Division 1 Féminine, shortened as D1 Féminine or D1F, and currently known as D1 Arkema for sponsorship reasons, is the highest division of women's football in France. Run by the French Football Federation, the league is contested by twelve fully professional clubs. Founded in 1974, the league exists in its current format since 1992. 2016 African Women's Championship
The 2016 Women's Africa Cup of Nations was the 12th edition of the biennial international football championship organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for the women's national teams of Africa. The tournament was held in Cameroon between 19 November and 3 December 2016. The initial dates were 8–22 October 2016, but were changed due to weather considerations. A total of eight teams played in the tournament. The 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup was the seventh FIFA Women's World Cup, the quadrennial international soccer championship contested by the women's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. The Women's Africa Cup of Nations, also called the TotalEnergies Women's Africa Cup of Nations for sponsorship reasons and abbreviated to WAFCON, is an international women's football competition held every two years and sanctioned by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
