Nežni Dalibor
Nežni Dalibor ( sr-Cyrl, Нежни Далибор; trans. ''Gentle Dalibor'') are a Serbian alternative rock band from Vranje and one of the most notable acts of the '' New Serbian Scene''. History 2000s Formed in Vranje in 1995, and having performed as a highschool five-piece band for three years, the band Nežni Dalibor was reformed in 2000 by the original members Ivica Marković (guitar, lead vocals), Ljubomir Vučković (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Branimir Bogdanović (drums), with the new member Miomir Stojković (guitar). At the time, the three were living and studying in Belgrade, thus Nežni Dalibor became a Belgrade-based band. However, after several name changes and live appearances in Vranje and Belgrade, the band went on hiatus in 2003. Two years afterward, in 2005, guitarist Stojković had moved to London and the band was reactivated as a trio during the same year. Vranje
Vranje ( sr-Cyrl, Врање, ) is a city in Southern Serbia and the administrative center of the Pčinja District. The municipality of Vranje has a population of 83,524 and its urban area has 60,485 inhabitants. Vranje is the economical, political and cultural centre of the Pčinja District in Southern Serbia. Veliki Prezir
Veliki Prezir ( sr-cyr, Велики Презир; trans. ''The Great Contempt'') is a Serbian alternative rock band from Vrbas. History 1990s Veliki Prezir was formed on June 1994 by a former Holidays member Vladimir Kolarić "Kole" (vocals, guitar), Slavko Kontra (guitar), Predrag Ilčešin (bass guitar) and Dušan Kuzmanović (drums), choosing the band name by the Jean-Luc Godard film '' Le Mépris''. Soon afterward, they entered the studio and recorded a demo featuring the song "Samo tebe znam" ("You Are The Only One I Know"), at the Novi Sad Do-Re-Mi studio, and during the spring of the following year, a promotional video was recorded for the track, making it an immediate hit on television and radio stations. Jelen Pivo Live
Jelen Pivo Live was a musical event held in Belgrade, Serbia from 2006 to 2012 in order to promote the Apatin Brewery brand Jelen pivo. The first Jelen Pivo Live was organized as a festival featuring only Serbian rock acts, but the following year beside Serbian bands, foreign acts were also included in the festival lineup. Foreign acts that performed on the festival include Ian Brown, Happy Mondays, Gary Moore, Dinosaur Jr., The Stooges, The Lemonheads, The Fall, Heavy Trash, Echo & the Bunnymen and The Rakes. The Buzzcocks
Buzzcocks are an English punk rock band formed in Bolton, England in 1976 by singer-songwriter-guitarist Pete Shelley and singer-songwriter Howard Devoto. They are regarded as a seminal influence on the Manchester music scene, the independent record label movement, punk rock, power pop, and pop punk. They achieved commercial success with singles that fused pop craftsmanship with rapid-fire punk energy. These singles were collected on ''Singles Going Steady'', an acclaimed compilation album described by music journalist and critic, Ned Raggett, as a "punk masterpiece". RTV Studio B, more often called Studio B ( sr-cyr, Студио Б), is a radio and television broadcaster in Belgrade, Serbia. It was the first broadcast station outside the national electronic media system. Background RTV Studio B broadcasts in a radius of 100 km around Belgrade, covering an area in which there are three million viewers. RTV B92, or simply B92 (stylized as b92, formerly BΞ92 and B 92), is a Serbian news station and broadcaster with national coverage headquartered in Belgrade. Founded in 1989 as radio station, it was a rare outlet for Western news and information in FR Yugoslavia under Slobodan Milošević, and was a force behind many Demonstration (people), demonstrations that took place in Belgrade during the turbulent 1990s. Eva Braun (band)
Eva Braun ( sr-Cyrl, Ева Браун) is a pop rock band from Bečej, Serbia, notable as one of the most important bands of the Vojvodina pop-rock scene of the 1990s. The band is credited for starting the pop rock revival in FR Yugoslavia of the 1990s which produced other notable acts like Oružjem Protivu Otmičara, Kristali and Veliki Prezir. History Formation, debut releases (1989–1993) In 1989, Goran Vasović and Petar Dolinka discussed the idea of forming a band. In Spring 1990, the core of the band was formed by the former two and Milan Glavaški. The agreement took place in a rented apartment in Novi Sad's Miše Dimitrijevića street.
