Newton Township was a township (New Jersey), township in New Jersey that existed initially within Gloucester County, New Jersey, Gloucester County from its creation in 1695, and became part of Camden County, New Jersey, Camden County when that county was formed in 1844, where it existed until its dissolution in 1871. Newton Township was incorporated as a township by Royal Charter on June 1, 1695, within Gloucester County. Haddon Township is a township in Camden County, New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 15,407, an increase of 700 (+4.8%) from the 2010 census count of 14,707, in turn reflecting an increase of 56 (+0.4%) from the 14,651 counted in the 2000 census.
