Wugu District
Wugu District () is a suburban district in the western part of New Taipei City in northern Taiwan. It has an area of 34.86 km2 and a population of 90,465 people (2022). History In the 19th century the area was known as ''Go-ko-khi'' (; also ). Until the creation of New Taipei on 25 December 2010, Wugu was a rural township (; Postal: Wuku) in the former Taipei County. New Taipei City is a Special municipality (Taiwan), special municipality located in northern Taiwan. The city is home to an estimated population of 3,974,683 as of 2022, making it the most populous city of Taiwan, and also the second largest special municipality by area, behind Kaohsiung. The Taoyuan Metro (formerly Taoyuan Rail Transit and officially Taoyuan Mass Rapid Transit System) is a rapid transit system serving Taoyuan City in Taiwan.
