New Diplomat
New Diplomat is an American Indie - Electronic / Synth Pop band out of San Francisco, California. Made up of members from countries all over the world, they formed in 2011 and gathered a significant local and national following. They have been described by Live 105, the largest Alternative Rock radio station in Northern California and a CBS network station as one of the top 10 Bay Area bands of 2011. They were the only currently unsigned band making it to the top of the list. Their debut EP "Buy Yourself Some Freedom" was recorded at Broken Radio Studios in San Francisco, a Bill Putman studio, during most of 2011 and released in October 2011. Aaron Axelsen, music director from Bay Area radio station Live 105, received the EP and played it on his weekly, Sunday evening radio show, Soundcheck without interruption since its release. Big Black Delta
Big Black Delta is a solo project of Mellowdrone vocalist/bassist Jonathan Bates. History Bates began the project in 2010 after becoming frustrated with the logistics of a band. Thanks to help from Alessandro Cortini, of Nine Inch Nails, he discovered the possibilities of producing music on a laptop and quickly set about building a new sound. In 2013, Bates released his self-titled album, '' Big Black Delta''. The album contained a mixture of fresh material and songs released on ''BBDLP1''. The album was released on Bates' own label, Masters of Bates, and was inspired by the soundtracks of Blade Runner and Solaris. It was positively received by critics and was compared by one reviewer to music from Muse and The Joy Formidable. Remixes of songs from the album have since come from Jimmy Edgar, John Tejada, Azari & III and Martyn. Kasabian
Kasabian ( ) are an English rock band formed in Leicester in 1997 by lead vocalist Tom Meighan, guitarist and occasional vocalist Sergio Pizzorno, guitarist Chris Karloff, and bassist Chris Edwards. Drummer Ian Matthews joined in 2004. Karloff left the band in 2006 and founded a new band called Black Onassis. Jay Mehler joined as touring lead guitarist in 2006, leaving for Liam Gallagher's Beady Eye in 2013, to be replaced by Tim Carter, who later became a full-time band member in 2021. Daniel M. Nakamura better known by his stage name Dan the Automator, is an American record producer from San Francisco, California. He is the founder of the publishing company Sharkman Music and the record label 75 Ark. Early life Nakamura was born in San Francisco, California on 20 December 1968.
