Central Jail Multan is a prominent jail in Multan, Pakistan. History The jail was built in 1930. It was constructed with a view to confine long-term and lifetime prisoners of Multan Region and to function as the Headquarter Jail for subordinate jail staffers of the region. After the creation of four regions of jails in the province of Punjab stationed at Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan and Faisalabad, the role of Headquarter Jail has been shifted from the Superintendent of Central / Headquarter Jail Faisalabad to the regional Deputy Inspector General of Prisons in the year 2004. Multan
Multan (; ) is a city in Punjab, Pakistan, on the bank of the Chenab River. Ravinder Kaushik
Ravindra Kaushik (11 April 1952 – November 2001) was a Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW) operative, also named as Black Tiger, who is believed to be one of India's best spies. Kaushik served the R&AW from 1979 to 1983 in Pakistan. He was able to penetrate the Pakistan Army and was recruited as an officer of them. Early life Ravindra Kaushik was born in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan on 11 April 1952 in a Brahmin family. His father, JM Kaushik, was an Indian Air Force officer; his mother Amla Devi passed away in 2006.
