"Never Enough" is a song by New Zealand band Six60, released as the fourth single from their third album ''Six60'' in December 2019. Background and composition "Never Enough" was one of the songs written for the 2019 ''Six60'' album sessions that attempted to take Six60's sound and transcend barriers in music between people. Guitarist Ji Fraser felt that the song was "a really beautiful-sounding forward step for us". Release and promotion The song was released as a single in December 2019 before the start of their 2020 Six60 Saturdays tour. A music video for the song was released in early January 2020. Critical reception Layla Bohm of ''Riff Magazine'' praised the song's "catchy pop feel", the "universal appeal of this single's lyrical content", and Walters' falsetto vocals. Six60
Six60 are a New Zealand pop rock band formed in Dunedin, Otago in 2008. The band consists of Matiu Walters (lead vocals, guitar), Ji Fraser (lead guitar), Chris Mac (bass guitar), Marlon Gerbes (synthesiser), Hoani Matenga (bass guitar) and Eli Paewai (drums). Their self-titled debut album was released on 10 October 2011 on their own label Massive Entertainment. The album was produced and mixed by Tiki Taane and debuted at number one in the New Zealand charts and was certified gold within its first week of release. Their first two singles " Rise Up 2.0" and " Don't Forget Your Roots" reached number one and number two respectively on the RIANZ singles chart and were both certified double and triple platinum. ''Six60'' is the third self-titled full-length studio album by New Zealand rock band Six60. It was released on 8 November 2019 through New Zealand label Massive Entertainment. Production was handled mainly by Malay, together with Printz Board, Big Taste, E. Kidd Bogart and Justin Gray. It debuted atop of the Official New Zealand Music Chart on the week of 18 November 2019 and as of December 2020 has never left the top five since then. The album was certified triple platinum by Recorded Music NZ on 14 September 2020 and was New Zealand's best-selling album of 2020. The album featured six singles.
