On 9 November 2019, four teenagers were killed and over 50 people were injured in a crowd crush at a trap music concert in Caracas. Crush The crush began before a free concert by Venezuelan music act in the Parque del Este (officially Gen. Francisco de Miranda Park) in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela. The concert was called Banderas Blancas. Over 8,000 people, largely teenagers, showed up to attend the concert; fighting and pushing broke out after a group of young people climbed over a park fence to get into the concert. It is reported that though the concert was to begin at 10 am, many of the people were breaking into the park early and causing chaos. Parque del Este ("East Park"), renamed as officially Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda Park by Chávez, in honor of the Venezuelan national hero, is a public recreation park located in the Sucre Municipality of Metropolitan Caracas in Venezuela. El Paraíso Stampede
The El Paraíso stampede was a stampede of more than 500 people that occurred in the early-morning hours of 16 June 2018 at the El Paraíso Social Club, also known as Los Cotorros Club, in the El Paraíso urbanization in Caracas, Venezuela. The stampede was the result of a tear gas canister being detonated during a brawl among a group of students from different schools celebrating their proms.
