Neukloster
Neukloster is a town in the east of the district of Nordwestmecklenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany. This town is the administrative center of the bureau Neukloster-Warin, which includes eight more communes. Neukloster is close to the cities of Lübeck, Wismar and Schwerin and is part of the Hamburg Metropolitan Region. Geography Neukloster is located at the Neuklostersee (Lake Neukloster), which originates from the Ice Age. The area around Neukloster belongs to the outmost north-western part of the Sternberger Seenlandschaft (Seascape of Sternberg). Neukloster is approx. away from Rostock and approx. away from Wismar. Nordwestmecklenburg (''Northwestern Mecklenburg'') is a ''Kreis'' (district) in the north-western part of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. It is situated on the coast of the Baltic Sea and borders on Schleswig-Holstein to the west. Glasin is a municipality in the Nordwestmecklenburg district, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany. Geography The municipality of Glasin borders on the district of Rostock in the east. It is located in an end moraine area, which extends from Kühlungsborn to the area of the upper Warnow river. Warin () is a town in the Nordwestmecklenburg district, in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Germany. It is situated 19 km southeast of Wismar. Warin is a small town with a population of under 4,000 persons. Warin is situated 104 km from Hamburg to the west, and 43 km from the Baltic port-city of Rostock to the north east. The countryside around Warin is composed of forests, lakes, and agricultural land given over to cereal production and animal husbandry of various kinds. The lakes are popular with canoeists, and swimmers, and also provide beautiful lakeshore frontage for the residential properties which skirt the two lakes situated immediately north and south of the town. The forests are ideal for nature-trail rambles, and are not too extensive to get easily lost, before one will encounter a forest trail to regain one's proper direction back to town.
