Neues Wiener Konservatorium
The Neues Wiener Konservatorium (New Vienna Conservatory) was a music school established in Vienna by Theobald Kretschmann in 1909. In 1929, it had the largest number of enrolled students during its lifetime. Other names include ''Privatmusikschule Theobald Kretschmann'' and ''Neues Konservatorium für Musik''. Music School
A music school is an educational institution specialized in the study, training, and research of music. Such an institution can also be known as a school of music, music academy, music faculty, college of music, music department (of a larger institution), conservatory, conservatorium or conservatoire ( , ). Richard Robert (25 March 1861 1 February 1924 in Kaltenleutgeben) Retrieved 28 August 2013 was an Austrian pianist, composer, music critic, and music administrator, but he is most notable as a pedagogue in piano, composition and conducting. As a Viennese piano teacher, Richard Robert was discussed in the same breath as Emil von Sauer and Theodor Leschetizky. Simon Pullman
Simon Pullman (15 February 1890 in Warsaw – August 1942 in Treblinka) was a Polish violinist, conducting, conductor, music teacher and founder and Director of the Pullman Ensemble and Orchestra, and a seminal figure in the evolution of chamber music performance. Born in Warsaw, he was a nephew of the famous Yiddish acting, actress Ester Rachel Kamińska and a cousin of Ida Kaminska and Josef Kaminsky. He studied with Leopold Auer at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory, St. Petersburg Conservatory (1905-1909) where he received his diploma. 1913 he continued his studies with Martin Pierre Marsick at the Conservatoire de Paris. Back in Warsaw, he founded and led a chamber orchestra specialised on music of the Vienna Classic (1915 to 1920).
