Nesluša ( hu, Neszlény) is a village and municipality in the Kysucké Nové Mesto District in the Zilina Region of northern Slovakia. Etymology The name probably comes from Slovak ''neslušný'' (rude, naughty, socially unacceptable). It could be also derived from ''neslušať'' (not to hear something) - "the hidden village", "the village you hear nothing about". Žilina Region
The Žilina Region ( sk, Žilinský kraj; pl, Kraj żyliński; hu, Zsolnai kerület) is one of the eight Slovak administrative regions and consists of 11 districts ( okresy) and 315 municipalities, from which 18 have a town status. The region was established in 1923, however, in its present borders exists from 1996. It is a more industrial region with several large towns. Žilina is the region administrative center and there is a strong cultural environment in Martin. Kysucké Nové Mesto District
Kysucké Nové Mesto District (''okres Kysucké Nové Mesto'') is a district in the Žilina Region of northern central Slovakia, in the Kysuce region. It is entirely surrounded by the Žilina and Čadca districts. Apart from the city districts in Bratislava and Košice, its area is the smallest of all Slovakia districts, although population density is the second highest in Slovakia. The district had been established in 1923 and in its current borders exists from 1996. Core of the district economy is engineering industry, performed by several companies foremost in Kysucké Nové Mesto industrial park.
