Neram (2013 Film)
''Neram'' () is a 2013 Indian black comedy thriller film written, directed, and edited by Alphonse Puthren in his directorial debut. Simultaneously made in Malayalam and Tamil languages, the film is an extended version of the short film of the same name, which he directed in 2009. It stars Nivin Pauly, Nazriya Nazim and Bobby Simha in both versions. Supporting roles were played by Manoj K. Jayan, Shammi Thilakan, Lalu Alex, and Willson Joseph in Malayalam, while Nassar, Thambi Ramiah, John Vijay and Shabareesh Varma portrayed the characters in Tamil. The whole film is set within one day in Chennai. Shooting for the film commenced on mid-2012, were completed in March 2013. The music was scored by debutant Rajesh Murugesan, while cinematography was handled by Anend C. Chendran. The Tamil version, that was shot simultaneously had Nazriya in its Kollywood debut. Alphonse Puthren is an Indian film director, producer, actor, editor, writer, and ad film maker. He works mainly in the Malayalam Cinema. He made his directional debut with the critically acclaimed Malayalam - Tamil bilingual suspense-thriller ''Neram'' (2013). Wilson Joseph (born 22 November 1984), professionally credited as Siju Wilson, is an Indian actor and producer, who works in Malayalam films. He won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Film for his debut production '' Vasanthi'' (2019). Career He completed BSc Nursing. Sundeep Kishan
Sundeep Kishan (born 7th May 1987) is an Indian actor and producer who works in predominately in Telugu and Tamil cinema. Career Sandeep Kishan was born in a Telugu family in present-day Chennai. He is the nephew to the cinematographers Chota K. Naidu and Shyam K. Naidu. He moved to Hyderabad in 2008 to pursue a career in films.
