Nepean Bay is a bay located on the north-east coast of Kangaroo Island in the Australian state of South Australia about south-south-west of Adelaide. It was named by the British navigator, Matthew Flinders, after Sir Evan Nepean on 21 March 1802. Extent & description Nepean Bay lies between Point Marsden and Kangaroo Head on the north-east coast of Kangaroo Island facing into Investigator Strait. The Nepean Creative and Performing Arts High School (formerly Nepean High School) is a government-funded co-educational comprehensive and specialist secondary day school with speciality in performing arts, located in Emu Plains, a suburb in western Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The school is located adjacent to the Emu Plains railway station. Overview Nepean Creative and Performing Arts High School was founded in 1963 as Nepean High School and became a creative and performing arts school in 2011, and provides an education for students from Year 7 to Year 12. Nepean is a federal electoral district (Canada), electoral district in Ontario, Canada that was represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 1988 to 1997, and was reinstated during the Canadian federal electoral redistribution, 2012, 2012 electoral redistribution. The original riding was created in 1987 from parts of the Nepean—Carleton riding. It consisted of the City of Nepean, Ontario, Nepean. The electoral district was abolished in 1996 when it was redistributed between the Nepean—Carleton (54%) and the Ottawa West—Nepean (46%) ridings. Nepean Township, Ontario
Nepean Township is a former incorporated and now geographic township in Eastern Ontario, Canada, now part of the City of Ottawa. Originally known as Township D, it was established in 1792. In 1800, it became part of Carleton County and was incorporated as a township in 1850. The first settler in the township was Jehiel Collins, from Vermont, who settled in an area near the Ottawa River which later became part of Bytown. Over the years, parts of Nepean Township were annexed by the expanding city of Ottawa. The original town hall of the township of Nepean was located in Westboro, which became part of Ottawa in 1949. Nepean Bay Conservation Park
Nepean Bay Conservation Park is a protected area in the Australian state of South Australia on Kangaroo Island. It was dedicated in 1974 for the protection of flora and fauna, and is the only reserved area of coastal sandplain on the island. Description The conservation park lies on the southern shoreline of Western Cove in Nepean Bay within the locality of Nepean Bay about to the east of the locality's main settled area and about south of Kingscote.
