''Neon Tommy'' was the online news publication sponsored by the Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism at the University of Southern California. It was active from 2009 to 2015. Publication Neon Tommy was a web-only student publication of the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism. The website was part of the Annenberg Media Center and ended its digital publication in 2015. The website offered students at the schools a platform through which to learn journalism. The website was regularly linked to by the Los Angeles Times, L.A. Weekly, LAist, The Huffington Post, Romenesko, Gawker, Yahoo!, CNN, SB Nation and more. The ''Daily Trojan'', or "DT," is the student newspaper of the University of Southern California. The newspaper is a forum for student expression and is written, edited, and managed by university students. The paper is intended to inform USC students, faculty, and staff on the latest news and provide opinion and entertainment.
