Daily Trojan
The ''Daily Trojan'', or "DT," is the student newspaper of the University of Southern California. The newspaper is a forum for student expression and is written, edited, and managed by university students. The paper is intended to inform USC students, faculty, and staff on the latest news and provide opinion and entertainment. Student writers, editors, photographers and artists can develop their talents and air their opinions while providing a service to the campus community through the ''Daily Trojan''. Readers can interact with the ''Daily Trojan'' by commenting on articles online or writing a letter to the editor. Publication It is published Monday through Friday (during regularly scheduled class days) and distributed at various locations around campus. Articles are also available online at the official ''Daily Trojan'' web site. Aisling Tucker Moore-Reed (born October 15, 1989), known by her pen name Tucker Reed, is an American novelist and disgraced civil rights activist who has been found liable for defamation and who was convicted of manslaughter in May 2020. Reed co-authored the young adult novel '' Amber House'' published in October 2012 and its sequel ''Neverwas'', released internationally in January 2014. Reed’s allegations of being raped resulted in her liability for defamation. In May 2020, she was convicted of manslaughter for killing her uncle after shooting him in July 2016. Daniel Kingsley Povenmire ( ; born September 18, 1963) is an American animator, writer, director, producer, and voice actor. With Jeff "Swampy" Marsh, Povenmire co-created the Disney animated series ''Phineas and Ferb'' and ''Milo Murphy's Law'', in both of which he voiced the character Heinz Doofenshmirtz. In October 2020, Povenmire announced a new series for Disney Channel titled ''Hamster & Gretel'', which premiered in 2022. David Milhous (born July 9, 1967) is a motion picture editor. He is known best as the editor of ''Crime Watch Daily'', which won the Emmy award for Editing in 2017. Arash Markazi
Arash Markazi (born 1980) is an American sports journalist and sports media personality. Markazi attended the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication Arizona State University and later the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Southern California. He graduated with a degree in Print Journalism from USC in 2004. While at USC he won the Allan Malamud Memorial Scholarship and the Jim Murray Memorial Scholarship, named after the two former sports columnists at the Los Angeles Times.
