Nenad Vasilić is a Serbian bassist. Early life and education Nenad Vasilic was born in Niš, Serbia. He started playing piano at the age of 5. At the age of 12 he received his first bass guitar and at the age of 15 he enrolled in the Secondary Music School in Niš. When he was 19 he studied contrabass and bass guitar at the Jazz Academy in Graz, Austria. Career In 1998, Vasilić formed his own band "Vasilić Nenad Balkan Band" and in 1999, he recorded his first album called "Jugobasija" in Austria. Sheila Jordan (born Sheila Jeanette Dawson; November 18, 1928) is an American jazz singer and songwriter. She has recorded as a session musician with an array of critically acclaimed artists in addition to recording her own albums. Wolfgang Puschnig (born 21 May 1956 in Klagenfurt, Austria) is an Austrian jazz musician (saxophone, flute, bass clarinet) and composer. Biography After his studies of saxophone and flute at the Vienna Conservatory Puschnig was the founding member of the Vienna Art Orchestra together with Mathias Rüegg in the mid-1970s. Here he was active until 1989. He was also involved in projects with Ernst Jandl involving Lauren Newton. John Hollenbeck is an American jazz drummer and composer known for his work with The Claudia Quintet and Bob Brookmeyer. Early life and education Hollenbeck was born in Binghamton, New York. He earned degrees in percussion and jazz composition from the Eastman School of Music Career Hollenbeck moved to New York City in the early-1990s. He has worked with Bob Brookmeyer, Fred Hersch, Tony Malaby, the Village Vanguard Orchestra, Kenny Wheeler, Pablo Ziegler, and Meredith Monk. Stjepko Gut (also known as Stepko, ''Steve Gut'', born 15 December 1950 in Ruma) is a Belgrade-based jazz musician.
