Nemom Railway Station
Nemom Railway Terminal also known as Thiruvananthapuram South Terminal, (Code:NEM) is one of the six railway stations serving the city of Trivandrum which is also proposed to act as the second satellite station to Thiruvananthapuram Central railway station in the state of Kerala, India. Nemom station comes under the Thiruvananthapuram railway division of the Southern Railway zone, Indian Railways. Train operating centre Indian Railways have finalized a proposal for setting up an operating centre in Nemom, for trains departing from and terminating at Thiruvananthapuram Central. All coach maintenance activities performed in Thiruvananthapuram Central is proposed to be transferred to Nemom once the operating centre is commissioned. Railways has proposed to set up 10 pit lines for maintenance of 30 trains, 12 stabling lines, sick lines and staff quarters at Nemom. Thiruvananthapuram Railway Division
Thiruvananthapuram Railway Division (TVC) is one of the six administrative divisions of the Southern Railway, Indian Railways. It has its headquarters at Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of the state of Kerala, India. Thiruvananthapuram Division was formed on 2 October 1979 which serves the eight districts of southern part of the Kerala, Kanniyakumari district and some parts of Tirunelveli District in Tamil Nadu. With 104 stations in its territorial jurisdiction, it is the fourth largest out of six divisions in Southern Railway. It is the southernmost railway division of India and manages 625 km of route track and 108 railway stations in the states of Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Thiruvananthapuram Pettah Railway Station
Thiruvananthapuram Pettah is a railway station for inter-city trains, located at Thiruvananthapuram, in the Indian state of Kerala. The station is operated by the Southern Railway zone of the Indian Railways. The station is only from the Thiruvananthapuram Central station. Most incoming trains from Kollam direction (from north) halt here for the convenience of passengers in the general area and to reduce the crowd at Thiruvananthapuram Central. But very few outgoing trains to north have a halt at Pettah. It has good connectivity to the city bus services and also an auto and taxi stand. This is the nearest railway station to the Trivandrum International Airport International Terminal. Punalur is a Municipality in Kollam district of Kerala State in India. It is the headquarter of the Punalur Taluk and Punalur Revenue Division. Erumely
Erumely, also spelt "Erumeli" is a panchayat in the southeast part of Kottayam district in Kerala state, India. Erumely is situated 49 km east of Kottayam town and 133 km North of capital city Trivandrum. It is situated on the way to Sabarimala and also an important halting place (''idathavalam'') for the Sabarimala pilgrims. Erumely is famed for its religious harmony and prosperity between Hindus and Muslims which existed from the early periods.
