''Neman'' is an album by the Serbian noise-rock band Klopka Za Pionira, released in 2006 (see 2006 in music This is a list of notable events in music that took place in the year 2006. The album's five songs contain no lyrics and are mostly experiments with various noise-making machines that the band was building. The outcome of these experiments can be heard on the following albums, so this was a kind of a showcase of their future work. The songs do not have names, merely numbers that position them on the disk. Industrial music is a genre of music that draws on harsh, mechanical, transgressive or provocative sounds and themes. It is one of the more seriously crafted albums by Klopka, and the first recorded on professional equipment. This album contains a cover version of Tom Waits' song "Poor Edward", translated into Serbian. Noise-rock
Noise rock (sometimes called noise punk) is a noise-oriented style of experimental rock that spun off from punk rock in the 1980s. Drawing on movements such as minimalism, industrial music, and New York hardcore, artists indulge in extreme levels of distortion through the use of electric guitars and, less frequently, electronic instrumentation, either to provide percussive sounds or to contribute to the overall arrangement.
