Nekrasovka is a station on the Nekrasovskaya line of the Moscow Metro. It was opened on 3 June 2019 as the eastern terminus of the inaugural stretch of the line, between Kosino and Nekrasovka. There are 250 active stations of the Moscow Metro. Of these, 209 on Moscow Metro proper, and some additional ones that are marketed by Moscow Metro: 6 stations of Moscow Monorail and 31 stations of the Moscow Central Circle. Two stations have been closed. As of 2017 several new stations are under construction or being planned. One station is reserved for future service ( Delovoy Tsentr for the Bolshaya Koltsevaya line). Island Platform
An island platform (also center platform, centre platform) is a station layout arrangement where a single platform is positioned between two tracks within a railway station, tram stop or transitway interchange. Island platforms are popular on twin-track routes due to pragmatic and cost reasons. They are also useful within larger stations where local and express services for the same direction of travel can be provided from opposite sides of the same platform thereby simplifying transfers between the two tracks. Nekrasovskaya Line
The Nekrasovskaya line (russian: Некрасовская линия) is the fifteenth metro line of the Moscow Metro. The first segment, between Kosino and Nekrasovka, was opened on 3 June 2019. The second segment was opened on 27 March 2020. City officials expect it to relieve passenger traffic on the Tagansko–Krasnopresnenskaya line once completed. The line will open together with a separate stretch of the Bolshaya Koltsevaya line from Nizhegorodskaya Ulitsa to Aviamotornaya, with through service between them. After the completion of the Bolshaya Koltsevaya line, service will be cut back to Nizhegorodskaya Ulitsa, with a cross-platform interchange to the other line.
