Neil Rioch
Daniel Gordon "Neil" Rioch (born 13 April 1951) is an English former professional Association football, footballer who played as a Defender (association football), defender. He played in the Football League for Aston Villa F.C., Aston Villa, York City F.C., York City, Northampton Town F.C., Northampton Town and Plymouth Argyle F.C., Plymouth Argyle, in the North American Soccer League (1968–84), North American Soccer League for Toronto Blizzard (1971–84), Toronto Metros and Portland Timbers (1975–82), Portland Timbers. The younger brother of Scotland captain Bruce Rioch he was one of the ball boys at the 1966 World Cup final and claims to be the first Englishman to touch the ball at that event. He was also on the books of Luton Town F.C., Luton Town without making a league appearance. He was Cap (sport), capped by the England national youth team in 1969. Paddington
Paddington is an area within the City of Westminster, in Central London. First a medieval parish then a metropolitan borough, it was integrated with Westminster and Greater London in 1965. Three important landmarks of the district are Paddington station, designed by the engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel and opened in 1847; St Mary's Hospital; and the former Paddington Green Police Station (once the most important high-security police station in the United Kingdom). The Portland Timbers are an American professional men's soccer club based in Portland, Oregon. The Timbers compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member club of the league's Western Conference. The Timbers have played their home games at Providence Park since 2011, when the team began play as an expansion team in the league. The club was founded in 2009, when the city of Portland was awarded an expansion berth to Major League Soccer.
