Neichülie-ü Nikki Haralu
Neichülie-ü Nikki Haralu (28 July 1918 – 2 September 2016) was an experienced Indian diplomat from Nagaland who served as Indian Ambassador to Panama, Costa Rica and Nicaragua from 1978–80. She also served as Chairman, Nagaland State Social Welfare Advisory Board after her retirement from Indian Foreign Service. Biography Neichülie-ü Nikki Haralu was born in Kohima, in the then Naga Hills District of British India. Her father, Harielungbe Haralu of Poilwa, was the first Naga Physician, while her mother, Rükhrie-ü is from Kohima Village Kohima Village is an Angami Naga village in Kohima District of the Indian state of Nagaland. Kohima (; Angami Naga: ''Kewhira'' ()), is the capital of the Northeastern Indian state of Nagaland. With a resident population of almost 100,000, it is the second largest city in the state. Shillong () is a hill station and the capital of Meghalaya, a Indian state, state in northeastern India, which means "The Abode of Clouds". It is the headquarters of the East Khasi Hills district. Naga People
Nagas are various ethnic groups native to northeastern India and northwestern Myanmar. The groups have similar cultures and traditions, and form the majority of population in the Indian states of Nagaland and Manipur and Naga Self-Administered Zone of Myanmar; with significant populations in Arunachal Pradesh and Assam in India; Sagaing Region and Kachin State in Myanmar (Burma).
