''Neelakanta'' ( kn, ನೀಲಕಂಠ) is a 2006 Indian Kannada language romantic drama film directed by Om Sai Prakash, produced by K. Bala Mutthaiah, and starring V. Ravichandran, Namitha and Sridevika. It is a remake of the Tamil film ''Aranmanai Kili'' (1993) directed and written by Rajkiran. The music was composed by V. Ravichandran. The film was dubbed in Tamil and released as ''Brahmandam''. Enreddy Prakash Reddy a.k.a. Om Sai Prakash is a Telugu and Kannada film director and producer. Ramesh Bhat
Ramesh Bhat is a multiple-award–winning Indian actor. He has worked predominantly in Kannada films and television serials. Early life Ramesh Bhat was born in Kundapur. He completed his primary education at Manki and portrayed national leaders like Jawaharlal Nehru in school day functions. He moved to Bangalore when his father, Rathnakar Rao, migrated there. He later studied at Model High School in Chamarajapet, Bangalore and went on to complete his diploma in mechanical engineering from SJ Polytechnic in Bangalore. Halahala
Halāhala (Sanskrit हलाहल) or kālakūṭa (Sanskrit कालकूटं, literally: 'black mass' or 'time puzzle') is the name of a poison in Hindu mythology. It was created from the Ocean of Milk when the devas and the asuras churned it (see Samudra Manthana) in order to obtain amrita, the nectar of immortality. Fourteen different ''ratnas'' (treasures) were recovered from this episode, which were distributed between the two clans. But before the amrita could be formed, Halāhala was produced, which started injuring both sides. As no one could bear the lethal fumes emitted by the poison, both the devas and the asuras began to collapse due to asphyxiation. They ran for help to Brahma who advised them to seek assistance from Shiva. Both parties went to Mount Kailash, and prayed to Shiva for help. Shiva chose to consume the poison and thus drank it.
