Sujan Mukhopadhyay (also known as Neel Mukherjee) is an Indian actor who works in Bengali language films, television and theatre. In 2012 he made his directorial debut with the film ''Ghete Gho''. He is an active Member of the renowned Theatre Group Chetana. On 22 February 2016 his directorial debut, in the field of Theatre, ''Ghashiram Kotwal'', which is an adaptation on Marathi play, was premiered. In 2018 he directed Don: Taake Bhalo Laage an adaptation of Dale Wasserman's Don Quixote which was translated into Bengali by Arun Mukhopadhyay many years back. This play marked the re-entry of Suman Mukhopadhyay as an actor after 25 years. Suman Mukhopadhyay ( bn, সুমন মুখোপাধ্যায়; born 20 November 1966) is an Indian film director.His popular films are Herbert (film), Kangal Malsat, Shesher Kobita (2014). Career Suman Mukhopadhyay is currently visiting New York on a Fulbright Fellowship with Columbia University. His first cinematic directorial debut film was ''Herbert'' which was released in 2005. Herbert won the National Award for Best Bengali film. Suman is in the post-production of his feature film " Putulnacher Itikatha", based on the novel by Manik Bandyopadhyay. ''Teen Yaari Katha'' (Bengali: তিন ইয়ারী কথা; English: Tale of Three Friends) is a 2012 Bengali language comedy film by the director team of Sudeshna Roy and Abhijit Guha. The Bengali musical group Bhoomi composed the film's music. The film tells the story of three middle class friends and their personal struggles.
