''Nedtur'' (literally 'Downturn', released in English as ''If Music Be the Food of Love'') is a Norway, Norwegian feature film from 1980 directed by Hans Lindgren. The film is about the life of a musician and his friends. They struggle with both relationships and marriage, and they often party together. There will be a downturn. Plot Nils (played by Nils Sletta) is a self-absorbed young jazz musician that expresses himself through music. Christian (Helge Jordal) is Nils` friend and works as a photographer for a weekly magazine. To make extra money, he also takes nude photos. Christian is struggling in his marriage with Kari (Frøydis Armand). Nils and Christian like to party together and drink a lot. One day, Nils' meets the drug addict Elin (Sigrid Huun), and the two become lovers. However, the relationship becomes difficult and they quarrel a lot. Sverre Horge
Sverre Horge (born 10 May 1944) is a Norwegian actor. He has acted in many Norwegian films and TV series. He is best known for playing the role of ''Sverre'' in the popular Norwegian Christmas series Nissene på Låven on (TV Norge). Horge has also been a guest on many other popular TV shows, such as Tonight med Timothy Dahle, ''Melonas'', Seks som oss, Senkveld med Thomas og Harald. Frøydis Armand
Frøydis Armand (9 April 1949 – 11 October 2022) was a Norwegian actress. She was the daughter of actor Eilif Armand, and sister of Merete Armand and Gisken Armand, both actresses. She worked at Nationaltheatret (the National Theatre) from 1972 onward, acting in plays such as Henrik Ibsen's ''Little Eyolf'', and Shakespeares '' Othello''. Though primarily a stage actress, Armand was probably best known to the general audience as one of the three protagonists in Anja Breien's ''Hustruer''–trilogy: ''Hustruer'' (1975), ''Hustruer – ti år etter'' (1985) and ''Hustruer III'' (1996). Anne Marie Ottersen Lindtner (born 29 April 1945) is a Norwegian actress. She has been working at Nationaltheatret (the National Theatre) since 1970, and acted in roles such as "Polly Peachum" in Bertolt Brecht's ''The Threepenny Opera'', and "Martha" in Edward Albees ''Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?''. William Nyrén
William Nyrén (March 19, 1920 – November 14, 1991) was a Norwegian actor. He appeared in stage roles in Oslo and in films. Nyrén was born in Oslo. He was imprisoned in Sachsenhausen, Germany, during the Second World War. After returning home, he was engaged with the newly launched Studio Theater until 1952.
