Neda Spasojević
Neda Spasojević (16 April 1941 – 16 July 1981) was a Serbian film, television and theater actress. She appeared in more than sixty films from 1964 until her 1981 death from cancer at age 40. Early life Neda Spasojević was born in the Yugoslav capital city Belgrade the week that the Kingdom of Yugoslavia was invaded by Germany in April 1941. Her father Milorad was a traveling actor. Her mother was an Austrian woman from Vienna named Hilda Lermer, who later adopted the Serbian name Jelena. Hilda worked as a seamstress for various theaters. Career Listening to her fathers advice to travel to Podgorica, Montenegro if she wished to become an actress, she performed in her first show on 23 March 1961. The Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, commonly referred to as SFR Yugoslavia or simply as Yugoslavia, was a country in Central and Southeast Europe. Danilo Stojković ( sr-cyr, Данило Стојковић; 11 August 1934 – 16 March 2002), commonly nicknamed Bata (Бата), was a Serbian theatre, television and film actor. Stojković's numerous comedic portrayals of the "small man fighting the system" made him popular with Serbian and ex-Yugoslav audiences, most of them coming in collaborations with either director Slobodan Šijan or scriptwriter Dušan Kovačević, or both. Early career Stojković was born in Belgrade in 1934. By the mid-1960s, he became a well-known theatre actor. He started his film career with the 1964 feature ''Izdajnik'' (lit. "The Traitor"). ''Walter Defends Sarajevo'' (; ) is a 1972 Yugoslav partisan film, directed by Hajrudin Krvavac and starring Bata Živojinović, Ljubiša Samardžić and Rade Marković.
