Nay Pyi Taw Football Club ( my, နေပြည်တော် ဘောလုံးအသင်း) was a professional football club based at Wunna Theikdi Stadium in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar. Owned by a prominent businessman, Dr. Phyo Ko Ko Tint San, the club was founded in 2010 and finished as runners-up in MNL Cup 2012. Nay Pyi Taw F.C. played as semi-professional club (ACE FC) in the Myanmar League, which was the highest football league in Myanmar. The first ever manager was Zaw Win, and the coach was San Lwin. Since 2010, Nay Pyi Taw Football Club changed as a professional football club to play in the Myanmar National League, which was changed from Myanmar League. Wunna Theikdi Stadium
Wunna Theikdi Stadium ( my, ဝဏ္ဏသိဒ္ဒိ အားကစားကွင်း) is a multi-use stadium in Naypyidaw, Myanmar. It can seat 30,000 spectators. The stadium hosted the 2013 Southeast Asian Games and 2014 ASEAN Para Games opening and closing ceremonies. In addition, it hosted the events of 2015 National Sports Festival and 2018 ASEAN University Games. Currently, it is hosting state and region sports competitions. There are offices of Myanmar Olympic Committee and Department of Youth Affairs of Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs. Wunna Theikdi Indoor Stadium The Wunna Theikdi Stadium complex is also home of an indoor stadium where many local and international Lethwei events are hosted. 2015 Myanmar National League
The 2015 Myanmar National League (known as the Ooredoo Myanmar National League for sponsorship reasons) is the 6th season of the Myanmar National League, the top Burmese professional league for association football clubs. The first round of the season began on 10 January 2015, with the last round ending on 31 October 2015. The Myanmar National League will be temporarily suspended for three months from 8 March to 22 June due to the 2015 Southeast Asian Games held in Singapore. The 2010 MNL Grand Royal is the Myanmar National League's first full regular season. The MNL was founded in 2009, and two separate cup competitions were held. Mandalay-based Yadanabon FC won both competitions. League table The season opener was between the champion Yadanarbon F.C. and Zeya Shwe Myay on 13 March 2010. The title deciding match was also between the champion Yadanabon and Zeya Shwe Myay on 9 November 2010 and Yadanabon won the match 2–1.
