Nawab Salahuddin Abbasi
Nawab Salahuddin Ahmed Abbasi ( ur, ) is a Member of Parliament in Pakistan. He is also the grandson of Sadeq Mohammad Khan V, who was the last ruling Nawab of the Princely State Bahawalpur. He has been elected five times as Member of National Assembly from the city Ahmadpur East. He is also the Chief of Bahawalpur National Awami Party (BNAP) which is allied with Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf. Nawab Salahuddin Abbasi is also a strong campaigner of restoration of Bahawalpur province and an influential personality of South Punjab. Public life He was appointed as the heir apparent, on the death of his grandfather, 24 May 1966. Succeeded on the death of his father on 14 April 1988 as head of the Royal House of Bahawalpur and was recognized as "Ameer of Bahawalpur" by the Government of Pakistan. Nawab Sir Muhammad Khan-i-Zaman Khan Tanoli also known as Khan-i-Zaman Khan, was the ruling Nawab of the princely state of Amb (princely state), Amb from 1907 until his death in 1936 in his region Darband, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Darband become a biggest trade market of India. Mir Painda Khan
Painda Khan Tanoli was a powerful chief and warrior in Tanawal area of North-West Frontier region of India. Painda Khan's rebellion against the Sikh empire cost him much of his kingdom, leaving only the tract around Amb,''The Gazetteer of North-West Frontier Province'', p. 138 with its twin capitals of Amb and Darband. He played a considerable part in fighting the Sikh Empire and Afghan empire of the region. The son of Nawab Khan, from about 1813, Painda Khan began the series of rebellions against the Sikhs which continued throughout his lifetime. To combat Khan, Maharaja Ranjit Singh, sent Hari Singh Nalwa to Hazara as governor, and Singh created a number of forts at strategic locations. Amb or Kingdom of Amb also Feudal Tanawal (Urdu/Persian: ''ریاست امب,'' romanized: ''Riyasat-e-Amb'') was a princely state in the present day Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region of Pakistan.
