Navy Children School, Kochi (formerly known as Naval Public School from 1986 to 2007) is an educational institution located on Willingdon Island, Willingdon island in the Naval Base at Kochi, Kochi, Kerala. It provides primary, secondary and senior secondary (up to 12th standard) and follows the syllabus set by the Central Board of Secondary Education. History The Navy Children School, Kochi was started in the year 1986 under the Naval Education Society, Naval Headquarters, New Delhi. It is a Co-educational School. Willingdon Island
Willingdon Island is the largest artificial island in India, which forms part of the city of Kochi, in the state of Kerala. Much of the present Willingdon Island was claimed from the Lake of Kochi, filling in dredged soil around a previously existing, but tiny, natural island. Kochi (), also known as Cochin ( ) ( the official name until 1996) is a major port city on the Malabar Coast of India bordering the Laccadive Sea, which is a part of the Arabian Sea. It is part of the district of Ernakulam in the state of Kerala and is commonly referred to as Ernakulam. Kochi is the most densely populated city in Kerala. Neha Dhupia
Neha Dhupia (born 27 August 1980) is an Indian actress and model who works predominantly in Hindi, and some Punjabi, Telugu and Malayalam films.
