''Naukar Wohti Da'' (Punjabi language, Punjabi: ﻧﻮﮐﺮ ﻭﻭﮨﭩﯽ ﺩﺍ) is a 1974 Pakistani, Punjabi film, starring Munawar Zarif in the lead role, opposite actress Aasia. The film tells the story of a hired husband. It was remade in Hindi as ''Naukar Biwi Ka'' (1983). This film is considered one of the most iconic films ever made in Pakistan, and was one of the big hits of Munawar Zarif as a lead actor. Plot Anwar (Habib-ur-Rehman (actor), Habib), who comes from a wealthy family, defies his father, Khan Bahadur (Agha Talish), and marries a poor but pretty woman (Meena Daud). He is asked to leave the family home. Both settle elsewhere and soon are the proud parents of a daughter, Razia (Aasia). Sofia Bano is a Pakistani former film actress and singer who starred in Lollywood movies mostly in supportive roles during the 1960s and 1970s. Masood Rana ( ur, , 6 August 1941 – 4 October 1995) was a Pakistani film playback singer. He began his singing career in 1962 with the film ''Inqalab'', became one of the top male singers in both Urdu and Punjabi films for more than three decades and remained a busy singer until his death in 1995. Rana still holds the record of singing more than 300 film songs in each of the two languages - Urdu and Punjabi, an all-time record shared with Ahmed Rushdi and Noor Jehan.
